ToughCutie is a black owned women’s outdoor sock brand. I worked as a graphic design apprentice from March to May 2024. During my time with ToughCutie I was able to work with the brand in a variety of ways.

Project Description/Goals:

The Thru-hiking Giveaway was a collaborative giveaway ran by Garage Grown Gear, The Trek, and several other outdoor brands. For this giveaway brands were encouraged to use images from media content or create their own graphics to promote the giveaway.

Instagram Grid Planning

Project Description/Goals:

  1. Write compelling copy using the ToughCutie Brand voice for Instagram captions, to encourage engagement

  2. Use Later - Social Media Management website to arrange, write, and schedule Instagram posts and stories 6 days a week

  3. Create Canva or Instagram graphics as needed for Instagram stories, giveaways, Daily affirmations, customer reviews, etc.

  4. Participate in weekly meetings to discuss upcoming content and brainstorm imagery
